Our Activities

There is quite literally something for everyone!

We have many different activities that we offer both as a Squadron and as an organisation. Why not take a look at all we have to offer below, and see if there is something that interests you! This list is not exhaustive, and there are far more activities not listed!

FLYING & GLIDING

Powered flying and winch launched gliding from Royal Air Force airfields, with a qualified RAF pilot. Totally free of charge to cadets!

LEADERSHIP

No matter what your level of experience of leading a team is, we can improve upon it, and develop you into an effective leader.

CAMPS & VISITS

From RAF stations in Scotland, to bases in England, Wales, USAF stations in Germany, and RAF Akotiri in Cyprus, cadets have the opportunity to visit them all.

FIELDCRAFT & SHOOTING

Employing tactics used by the British Army on deployment, cadets have the chance to experience life as a soldier on exercise, and live fire target rifles.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

Completing all of your 'classification training' will award you with a BTEC Level 2 in Aviation studies. Equivalent to 2 GCSE's at grade 4 to 9.

TRAINING

Mountain biking, Archery, Swimming, Kayaking, the DofE Award, Mountaineering, Climbing and orienteering to name but a few, we do it all!
